Synopsis: Uganda currently has 75 cases of COVID-19 out of about 6661 clients tested and yet the number quarantined is increasing due to the contacts https://www.health.go.ug/covid/. Although there is tremendous progress of recoveries, the government has continued with strict measures to contain the pandemic; banned public transport and non-food markets. Prior to that it had closed all bars and including a nighttime curfew, banning the use of all privately-owned vehicles, and closing shopping malls and non-food stores for 14 days first and now 21 additional days.
This is a great mechanism to protect it’s people and especially the elderly that are at higher risk to contract this disease. As the Anti corona project, we’re providing relief but also doing mass awareness about this pandemic.
